Dr. David Compton grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology before moving on to the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1993. Following dental school, Dr. Compton practiced in Munster, Indiana for four years. In 1997, he and his wife Valerie moved to Ellettsville to practice with Dr. Kapczynski and Dr. Stipp at the Ellettsville Dental Center.
Much of Dr. Compton’s time is spent with his wife and three children. He is a member of the Hoosiers for Dental Excellence, a Seattle Study Club, as well as the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the South Central Dental Society. He is a past president of the Bloomington Dental Society.
